But I was very confused that a venue that does 100s of weddings gets away acting like this. We worked with Sarah and Gina and they were kind, professional, and brilliant! Our ceremony was in the Priory and reception in the Oak Room. They do have rules there and are sticklers for time, but we managed to abide by them just fine with no issues. A 4-hour minimum rental is required. We were able to pick the food from many selections. It "went missing". Everything ran smoothly and looked beautiful! We had a great experience from beginning to end-- I don't have a single complaint. Although, my husband and I didn't get much time to eat, we were waited on hand and foot and never wanted for anything! Every time I email my event manager, Gina she gets back to me super quick. trying to help fix any of these problems, they were repeatedly very rude, including the manager that I spoke with. On top of all that, I walked in for the rehearsal and was told I would have a completely different coordinator than who we had worked with the whole time. Guest danced until the very last song. You can tell they have weddings down to a science - everything like clockwork and they know what they're doing. Jackie was our coordinator, and she was responsive and helpful at all times. We had our wedding in the ballroom and it was a great size for our 200 guests. I cannot say enough good things about Gina and her staff! The staff was incredible and helped answer all of our questions. Lori made a number of suggestions to not only keep us within our budget, but to create an absolutely beautiful setting for our night. We had ice cream sundaes and hot chocolate for our cocktail hour and everyone loved it.
